♥ Missha Super Aqua Snail Hydro Mask ♥

In February's Glossybox, I received a face mask that I was not looking forward to trying. Generally when I get a product I want to try them out instantly or at least open them up and check them out. The idea of the product totally grossed me out. It contains snail slime. Yes, that little critter that leaves a trail of goo behind itself. The mask was made of that gooey slime trail.  Needless to say, this is why I put off trying the mask for a whole month.

I got desperate for skin hydration a few days ago. I have combination skin but around my mouth gets dry in the winter time, and after reading that snail slime was good for hydration, I knew I had to try it out. Although the idea freaked me out, I finally decided it was time to use it and review it.

Missha describes why they use snail slime on their website;

"Hydro gel mask contains Snail Slime extract to moisturize, soothe, and regenerate skin with a vitalizing benefit. Snail slime contains natural healing and regenerative power when applied to skin. This led Missha to develop a highly moisturizing and nutritive line of skincare to cater to the needs of customers who want to recover from skin damage, while also strengthening the skin barrier in a natural way. Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Series contain extracts from Snail Slime of healthy snails born within 5-6 months."

Sounded promising to me!

I was hoping this mask was super quick, but Missha recommends to leave it on your face 20-40 minutes. I left it on for 40 because my skin needs the most hydration in can absorb!

LOOK AT ALL THAT SLIME

The mask goes on the top and bottom of your face in two separate pieces so you can adjust it to your face. It comes with film on both sides that you peel off before you put it on your face. I'm really silly and put it on my face with film on one side of both pieces because I didn't know that it was on each side. Ooooops!

This is the mask above my eyelid. I really need to do my eyebrows after seeing this photo haha!

♥ Conclusion ♥
I really did not like this mask. Not only did it not moisturize my face, it felt disgusting and fell off more than once! Maybe its something you need to do a few times to have it work, but I didn't see a change other than my skin feeling smoother for a short period of time after. I used it before bed and woke up with dry and flakey skin again. What a bummer! I really wanted to fall in love with this mask but I unfortunately will not be purchasing this mask and I do not recommend it.

♥ February Glossybox ♥

This is my second Glossybox review and I was honestly completely surprised to receive this box! As I walked to front door, I saw the super cute Glossybox packaging and I immediately knew that the lovely folks from Glossybox gifted me another free box to review! How kind of them! I feel so fortunate to have received another box (★´ω`★)! If you haven't heard of Glossybox before, click here to read my  first review and to learn more about this amazing subscription service! Please note that all of my opinions below are my own, and they are not influenced in any way by the company or anybody else.

Let us get started, shall we?!

This months Glossybox was called "International Style" and it came with 5 products to help you get through a month full of fashion! If you didn't know, February is packed with fashion shows all around the world, from NYC, to Milan, to Paris, and most big cities hold their own fashion shows. I'm not too into clothing, but I can definitely appreciate makeup trends and beauty trends which are definitely a huge part of fashion! This months box came in Glossybox's standard pink box with their dark brown-black logo! Some months don't come in this box, some do! You never really know. Regardless, their packaging is cute as usual!

The first thing I noticed in this box is their style magazine! This is their biggest issue ever, and with 46 pages it is full of super helpful beauty and fashion tips. This month, being their international box, they included a bunch of information about other countries! I love this, and I really think it makes this months mag.

Flipping past the index, you will find all of the countries above have two pages featuring their currency  capital, currency, calling codes, and "3 Top (something inserted here)." I'm looking forward to learning about all of the countries above once I finish this review (and some of The Walking Dead...ah!)

Each month, Glossybox sends you a card letting you know what this months box is, and on the flip side it tells you in detail what each product is/what it is for!

These are the products I received this month! Yay ♥

♥ Glossybox Review ♥

Hi loves! I'm currently snowed in by a blizzard by the name of Nemo, so I figured it was the perfect time to write a review on Glossybox. If you've never heard of Glossybox before, you're missing out on something lovely. Glossybox is a monthly subscription service that sends you five (sometimes more!) luxury travel-sized (sometimes full sized!) beauty products each month. This service is easy to sign up for, and is currently available in more than 15 countries! Glossybox USA is $21 a month, $60 for three months, $115 for 6 months, and $220 for one year.

All you have to do is create a beauty profile, fill out some basic information, then you'll be all set to receive your first box!

Simple enough, right?! I was given the opportunity to receive their January box, The Man Repeller, for free, in exchange for an honest review. All of my opinions below are my own, and not influenced in any way by the company or anybody else.

I really need to invest in getting a better quality camera, and better lighting! Hm, back to the review. Each month, Glossybox sends you a box in their signature brown logo box. I attempted to remove the shipping label to photograph the box in its complete glory, but unfortunately I couldn't, so I covered it instead! When I got this in the mail, I was super happy. As you may know, cute packaging is my weakness and seeing this in the mailbox made me ecstatic.

Unlike any other company I've ordered from, Glossybox has a pull tab to make opening the package easy. I especially liked this about their packaging because I open boxes like a savage and now I can act a bit more lady like when it comes to getting mail. Yay! (。◕‿◕。)

When you open the package, you see this first! A small little magazine featuring beauty tips, and other information related to the box you received!

Move over, Leandra Medine! As much as I adore her blog Man Repeller (which this box is named after and curated by), I needed to see my Glossybox in all its glory.

Meet, The Man Repeller. This box came in a silver (with slight gold undertone) box, with a super simple label on it. I love how the label is placed on the corner of the box versus putting it smack dab in the middle. It's labeling like this that make me fall in love with companies and their products!

How adorably wrapped is every single layer of Glossybox?! From the main exterior packaging, to the actual box, to the contents of the box. A+ Glossy, A+. Leandra wrote a little note to everyone on the product index. So sweet! She's a gem.

"Hey friend! Please enjoy this Glossybox, even though you are so damn pretty, you don't need the aid of my favorite products."

Each Glossybox you receive, you get a card telling you about each product in your box. It tells you what the product is, what it does, and the full size value. From there, you can do some math and figure out how much your luxury travel size product is worth! Lets get into what I received.

Narciso Rodriguez "For Her" Eau De Toilette.
Full size: $104/3.30z.
Travel size: $.95/.03oz

Le Metier De Beaute, Replenishing Daily Solution
Full size: $225/1.17oz.
Travel size:$19.23/.1oz

Fresh, Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum
Full size: $35/1oz
Travel size: $5.95/.17oz

Estee Lauder, Sumptuous Extreme Mascara
Full size: $25/.27oz
Travel size: $9.26/.1oz

Vincent Longo Lipstick
Full size: $23
Travel size: $23
(I received a full size product)

Living Proof, Style Extender Prime
Full size: $20/5oz
Travel size: $4/1oz

O.P.I Nail Lacquer
Full size: $9/.5oz
Travel size: $9/.5oz
(I received a full size product)

Added all together, this box is worth $71.39! You're spending $21 to get over double of what you spent in money in product value each month. I received two full size products, and five luxury size travel products. I'm extremely happy to have been contacted by Glossybox. I wasn't completely sure if I wanted to get a subscription at first, but once I received this box, I now know I need to! I have tried numerous subscription services, but Glossybox takes the cake.

This is the one monthly beauty subscription service I recommend you sign up for! You get way more in products than what you spent, and you are getting products that you can reuse multiple times, versus a tiny sample like you'd get from any other service (cough cough, Birchbox.)

Go get yourself a Glossybox! I promise you, its worth every penny. Plus, you'll get a free lipstick when you sign up to get your first box! How awesome is that?!

♥ CocoPPa Help ♥

I'm realizing a lot of you are having a tough time with this app, and are very confused by it. I've put together the following tips to help you have a super kawaii phone and to better understand the app.

Frequently Asked Questions.

What Does CocoPPa do?
CocoPPa is an app that allows you to use different icons for apps you have on your phone. It is essentially bookmarking an existent app just to have a different icon.

Do I have To Keep The Original App?
YES. If you delete the original app, the entire app is gone. CocoPPa is only to make a bookmark. It is not a new app. Please do not delete it.

How Come I Can't Get Certain Short Cuts?
Apple either has no scheme (bookmark) for certain apps, does not allow it, or hasn't released it. A lot of the apps already on your phone wil not be able to have a cute icon, I'm sorry.

Can I Go Back To The Original App?
Yes. Again, these are not new apps, and your phone is not hacked. Just hold down the icon and delete it as you would any app.

A lot of you are really confused on how to custom add things that do not come up in the app search. Here's how!

One you click this, this will show up

You will be asked to insert a url. This url is to redirect the shortcut/bookmark to your app. It is not  always an actual URL.

These are the native urls for the iphone apps that allow you to use shortcuts/bookmarks. Copy everything after the ♥

I do have a phone app on my screen but it does not work. It is only there for show.

I DO NOT USE COCOPPA ANYMORE AS IT SLOWED DOWN MY PHONE. PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS I WILL NO LONGER ANSWER THEM BECAUSE I DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER.

♥ How To Get A Kawaii Phone ♥

I've jail broken and hacked my phone enough times to tell you all its a pain in the butt, and it will screw up your phone. I've done it so much that the thought of it makes me go crazy (。・ˇ_ˇ・。)

Thankfully, I discovered this nifty little app called CocoPPa.

CocoPPa is an app which simply ads a shortcut to your apps on your home screen. It does NOT replace your apps. If you delete the app, the shortcut will not work.

This is my current home screen:

It doesn't make it as short as it! I just cropped it (♡˙︶˙♡)Page two has all of my apps on it, in folders, so you can't see it on the home screen! Instead you just see the cute little shortcuts.

So, how to use this app! It is really simple, but it can get very difficult.

Each app you download, or have on your phone, has a scheme code. I can't explain what a scheme code is because I really have no idea! I just know its used for short cuts.

Lets get started!

Lets say you want to replace Instagram or any other app you have downloaded, CocoPPA allows you to search for apps to replace! I will show how to do this below:

If your app does not come up, don't freak out! You can go to this website and search for it! If your app does not come up on that website, there is not a scheme for it yet! Not all apps can get super duper kawaii. When you go to the website, and your app DOES come up, copy the native application url. I will show you how to use this below.

These next steps are the same if your app did or did not come up.

Okay, now for apps that have come with your phone!

You want to follow all of the same steps (of course scroll to the bottom of the app to search for different icons) for apps that have come with your phone.

Apps on your phone will not show in the app search, so you must go to http://handleopenurl.com/ and search for the scheme code.

PLEASE NOTE A LOT OF IPHONE APPS DO NOT HAVE WORKING SCHEMES. My phone button on my home screen does NOT work, I just added it to look cute. Also, these are simply shortcuts

♥THIS DOES NOT REPLACE THE APPS.♥
♥DO NOT DELETE YOUR APPS.♥
♥THESE ARE SIMPLY SHORTCUTS.♥
♥YOU CAN DELETE THEM ANYTIME.♥
