♥ Glossybox Review ♥

Hi loves! I'm currently snowed in by a blizzard by the name of Nemo, so I figured it was the perfect time to write a review on Glossybox. If you've never heard of Glossybox before, you're missing out on something lovely. Glossybox is a monthly subscription service that sends you five (sometimes more!) luxury travel-sized (sometimes full sized!) beauty products each month. This service is easy to sign up for, and is currently available in more than 15 countries! Glossybox USA is $21 a month, $60 for three months, $115 for 6 months, and $220 for one year.

All you have to do is create a beauty profile, fill out some basic information, then you'll be all set to receive your first box!

Simple enough, right?! I was given the opportunity to receive their January box, The Man Repeller, for free, in exchange for an honest review. All of my opinions below are my own, and not influenced in any way by the company or anybody else.

I really need to invest in getting a better quality camera, and better lighting! Hm, back to the review. Each month, Glossybox sends you a box in their signature brown logo box. I attempted to remove the shipping label to photograph the box in its complete glory, but unfortunately I couldn't, so I covered it instead! When I got this in the mail, I was super happy. As you may know, cute packaging is my weakness and seeing this in the mailbox made me ecstatic.

Unlike any other company I've ordered from, Glossybox has a pull tab to make opening the package easy. I especially liked this about their packaging because I open boxes like a savage and now I can act a bit more lady like when it comes to getting mail. Yay! (。◕‿◕。)

When you open the package, you see this first! A small little magazine featuring beauty tips, and other information related to the box you received!

Move over, Leandra Medine! As much as I adore her blog Man Repeller (which this box is named after and curated by), I needed to see my Glossybox in all its glory.

Meet, The Man Repeller. This box came in a silver (with slight gold undertone) box, with a super simple label on it. I love how the label is placed on the corner of the box versus putting it smack dab in the middle. It's labeling like this that make me fall in love with companies and their products!

How adorably wrapped is every single layer of Glossybox?! From the main exterior packaging, to the actual box, to the contents of the box. A+ Glossy, A+. Leandra wrote a little note to everyone on the product index. So sweet! She's a gem.

"Hey friend! Please enjoy this Glossybox, even though you are so damn pretty, you don't need the aid of my favorite products."

Each Glossybox you receive, you get a card telling you about each product in your box. It tells you what the product is, what it does, and the full size value. From there, you can do some math and figure out how much your luxury travel size product is worth! Lets get into what I received.

Narciso Rodriguez "For Her" Eau De Toilette.
Full size: $104/3.30z.
Travel size: $.95/.03oz

Le Metier De Beaute, Replenishing Daily Solution
Full size: $225/1.17oz.
Travel size:$19.23/.1oz

Fresh, Umbrian Clay Mattifying Serum
Full size: $35/1oz
Travel size: $5.95/.17oz

Estee Lauder, Sumptuous Extreme Mascara
Full size: $25/.27oz
Travel size: $9.26/.1oz

Vincent Longo Lipstick
Full size: $23
Travel size: $23
(I received a full size product)

Living Proof, Style Extender Prime
Full size: $20/5oz
Travel size: $4/1oz

O.P.I Nail Lacquer
Full size: $9/.5oz
Travel size: $9/.5oz
(I received a full size product)

Added all together, this box is worth $71.39! You're spending $21 to get over double of what you spent in money in product value each month. I received two full size products, and five luxury size travel products. I'm extremely happy to have been contacted by Glossybox. I wasn't completely sure if I wanted to get a subscription at first, but once I received this box, I now know I need to! I have tried numerous subscription services, but Glossybox takes the cake.

This is the one monthly beauty subscription service I recommend you sign up for! You get way more in products than what you spent, and you are getting products that you can reuse multiple times, versus a tiny sample like you'd get from any other service (cough cough, Birchbox.)

Go get yourself a Glossybox! I promise you, its worth every penny. Plus, you'll get a free lipstick when you sign up to get your first box! How awesome is that?!
